In this project, my investigation focuses on interpersonal distance, with a particular emphasis on the symbolic meaning of the neck as a delicate and revealing element of the human body. By capturing images of my friends' necks, I extend an invitation for them to share a vulnerable side, fostering trust and security. In the second phase of this project, I engage with strangers for the first time in my life using a polaroid camera, breaking down barriers and exploring the ever-evolving nature of relationships.
Through this inquiry, I aim to explore themes of vulnerability, intimacy, and human connection, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions. By undergoing this experimental process, I seek to unravel the essence of intimate relationships while analyzing my emotions, reactions, and rebuilding my understanding of the world along the way.
